Is your child experiencing issues that affect everyday life? Are you feeling like you are inadequately equipped to help your child, or yourself? I can work together with you to find the best solution for you and your family.

It can be difficult to ask for help. At my counseling practice in North Dallas, I am passionate about providing a nurturing space where every individual—regardless of age—can feel heard, accepted, and valued for who they truly are. I believe that in this safe environment, my clients will be able to move forward in life with increased confidence and happiness. Everyone’s path to healing looks different, and I strive to provide a unique approach that fits each person’s and each family’s needs. Together we can find ways to help you and your family meet your goals.

In order to best help my clients, I have received extensive education and training. My education includes a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Duke University and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in play therapy from the prestigious program at the University of North Texas. During my graduate program, I also received training in incorporating expressive arts into counseling and interned under an art therapist to learn more about how to utilize the power of artistic expression so clients can express themselves in whatever way feels best to them. I further developed my specialization in working with children and their families by pursuing the Registered Play Therapist (RPT) credential.

As both a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist, I firmly believe that helping a child is only part of the equation; it's equally important to empower parents with the tools and support they need to feel confident in their abilities to connect and enrich their children’s lives. There are many things that might bring you to counseling and whether you are worried about low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, or behavioral or academic concerns or just wanting a space for you or your child to grow, I love supporting the entire family on their journey.

When I’m not working with my clients, I enjoy spending time with family, friends, my partner, and my dogs. When the Texas weather cooperates, I love to take the dogs for a hike, and when it’s too hot or storming, I’m just as content reading a good book. I never quite got the hang of football despite living in Texas, but I’m always cheering for the Dallas Stars.

Whether it is through play, talk, or expressive arts, I would be honored to help you, your child, and your family heal, grow, and feel better. I genuinely look forward to working with families to help them create a more peaceful and brighter way forward.
