Linden Tree Counseling PLLC Pricing

A Note About Insurance

While she is not directly in network with insurance carriers, Lindsey can see clients with Aetna, United Healthcare (UHC), and Cigna plans through Headway. If you have another insurance carrier, Linden Tree Counseling, PLLC can offer documentation if you want to file for out-of-network (OON) benefits. While you still pay upfront, some insurers will reimburse you for some or all of your therapy fees depending on their policies for OON benefits. It is your responsibility to verify benefits with your insurance company. If you do not have insurance benefits and paying for services would be a burden, please reach out to Lindsey to discuss options.

Good Faith Estimate

Effective January 1, 2021, the No Surprises Act requires out-of-network providers to give you an estimate for services. This is not a recommendation for care, but rather what you could expect to pay for certain services. This does not include unexpected costs, such as school observations or legal fees. You will be provided with such an estimate before your first appointment via my client portal.

Price by Service

If you are going through insurance, your insurance company will determine your rate for services. If you are paying out of pocket, these are the current rates that you may expect for the most common services.

Intake – $160

Intake allows your therapist to collect background information to best understand what your needs for therapy are and how you can collaboratively meet them. Because this session is different from a standard session and requires processing of more paperwork, it is $160.

Standard Session (45-60 minutes) – $135

This includes child, adolescent, adult, and parent consultation sessions. The length of session depends on several factors. Most sessions will be 50 minutes, but play sessions are typically 45 minutes to meet the developmental needs of the child, and for the therapist to have additional time to clean up.

Extended Session (90 minutes) – $200

Typically sessions will last 45-60 minutes, but there may occasionally be a need for longer sessions, such as in the case of a short-term crisis. Linden Tree Counseling, PLLC is not specifically a crisis clinic, so if there is an emergency, people should contact their local emergency line or 911 or 988. However, if there is something that comes up and your counselor has availability, an extended session may be appropriate on a case-by-case basis.

Additional Services

These are the prices for the most common services. Additional services, such as school observations or court appearances, are outlined in the practice’s financial agreement, which your therapist will review with you prior to beginning therapy services.
